ASTM B381 Scope: The grades of titanium and titanium alloy metal covered by this specification shall conform to the requirements as to chemical composition prescribed. Forgings supplied under this specification shall conform to the requirements as to mechanical properties specified, as applicable, such as tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation. Nondestructive test requirements such as ultrasonic test, X-ray, or surface inspection shall be specified by the purchaser, if required.
