Stainless Steel Alloy 303 | UNS# S30300 is an austenitic stainless steel designed for applications that require extensive machining necessities and demonstrates mild resistance in corrosive environments. Being the most readily available machinable chromium-nickel stainless steel grades, is non-magnetic in the annealed condition, and can only be hardened through cold working. Typically used in screw machine applications, fasteners, and fittings for aircraft.
