Stainless Steel Grade 321 | UNS# S32100 is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel that also contains titanium. The addition of titanium reduces and prevents carbide precipitation during welding processes. Type 321 demonstrates excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance and possess good creep strength. Often used for service in the 1000° to 1600°F temperature range, Stainless Steel Grade 321 can be found in applications that involve continuous and intermittent service temperatures within the carbide precipitation range of 800° to 1500°F.
