Nickel Alloy Waspaloy ® | UNS# N07001 is an age-hardenable, nickel based super-alloy that exhibits good corrosion resistance, excellent strength properties, is mostly impervious to oxidation, and performs well in extreme environments. Typically used in gas turbine engines that require strength and corrosion resistance at high temperatures, Waspaloy can also be found in compressors, shafts, seals, rings, fasteners, airframe assemblies, and missile systems. It has also performed better than Nickel Alloy 718 in most high temperature situations.
