Carbon Steel H-11 | UNS# T20811, also known as Tool Steel H11 is a chromium-based steel alloy in the “H” family of steels according to the AISI classification system. One of the more commonly used alloys in the “H” family, H-11 demonstrates excellent impact toughness, excellent resistance to cracking, and thermal fatigue cracking. Because of these desirable traits, H-11 is often used in the aerospace industry for landing gear, blades for rotorcraft and shafts, die-casting dies and similar applications.
